Choose individual geotagged photos or an entire folder. Photos are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.
Usage analytics record general workflow steps, but never photos, filenames, captions, coordinates, EXIF data, or client/project names.
Review drafts are portable save files.
They store captions, order, settings, GPS, and relative photo names, but not the photos themselves.
To resume or hand off a job, load the same photo folder and the saved draft GeoJSON.
Advanced: QGIS photo path
Optional. Only needed if you want the downloaded GeoJSON to include full local photo paths for use in QGIS photo logs. Not required for atlas generation.

Review Photo Log
Check the extracted data. Click a thumbnail to preview it larger, then add comments for the atlas and exports. If direction is missing or looks wrong, click Set to use the map and point to what the image is looking at.
Save your work before stepping away.Downloads a small review draft GeoJSON with captions, selected photos, order, settings, GPS, and relative photo names. It does not include the image files.

Output Settings
Choose your output mode and configure how the document will look.
Map Atlas: one photo per page with GPS satellite map — requires geotagged photos. Photo Log: two photos per page, no GPS required — works with any folder of photos.
This field is used as the "PHOTO:" label in the atlas caption.
Used for map arrows. Auto detect checks drone yaw, GPS image direction, and supported camera-app comments.
Useful for drone photos. Turn this off for ground photos or phone-based photo logs.
Branding — optional
PNG or SVG recommended. Embedded in the output document header.
Replaces the orange in headings and the gradient bar. Default is Broken Arrow orange.
Map Settings
Landscape puts the map beside the photo. Portrait puts a large photo on top with the map and caption below.

Upload a lease boundary, pasture, ROW, or project area polygon as GeoJSON or KML. It will appear on every atlas map page.
Satellite basemap tiles are requested from Esri's servers around your photo locations. For sensitive client work, be aware that photo coordinates are sent to the tile provider to load the imagery. Atlases with many photos may take a couple of minutes to finish loading the satellite basemaps.

To save as PDF: In the atlas tab, press Ctrl+P (or ⌘P on Mac) → set orientation to Landscape → enable Background graphics → Save as PDF.
Save Review Draft creates a small GeoJSON handoff file. It does not include image files, so keep the original photo folder with the draft.
